Hazwoper First Responder Awareness Level Training Course

The HAZWOPER first responder awareness level training is a four hour course designed for workers who respond to hazardous material emergency. As indicated by OSHA 29 CFR 1910. 120, these workers must receive the HAZWOPER training based on the level of activities at the work sites.

This HAZWOPER first responder awareness level training is for workers who are likely to witness or discover hazardous materials release and who will initiate a response progression by informing the proper authorities of the release.

Course Description:

HAZWOPER first responder awareness training program is designed to protect the workers working at hazardous sites and devised an extensive regulation to ensure their safety and well being. Topics in this course include defining hazardous materials, identify the presence of hazardous substances in an emergency, the potential outcomes when hazardous materials are involved, basic information resources, and individual roles in an emergency situation.

QUIZZES and TESTING:

There is a set of quizzes between training chapters. All module quizzes must be cleared with a minimum score of 70% to proceed forward in the course. The final exam at the end of the course also requires the same minimum score to complete the HAZWOPER training successfully.  If a trainee is not able to clear the final exam then, there are two additional attempts at no additional charges.

Upon successful completion of course you can print your HAZWOPER certificate.
